Rogner "raum + sole" in Waren (Müritz)

The Rogner Group has received a contract from the municipality of Waren (Müritz) in the amount of € 300,000 for the development of a tourism project. We have been instructed by the municipality and by the Government of Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania (Germany) to contribute our know how to the project. There is already a "saltwater hot spring" which fulfils the criteria for a locally based cure. The saltwater spring is already the basis for the production and marketing of the "Valendis" range of natural cosmetics. The state recognised climatic health resort of Waren (Müritz) is the touristic centre at the heart of the "Mecklenburger Seenplatte". The historic heart of the town and its harbour are located right on the shore of the "Müritz", at 117 km² the largest inland lake located entirely within Germany, and also border directly on to the 322 km² "Müritz national park" and other nature parks.
The aim there is to develop sustainable tourism on the Rogner Bad Blumau model (300 beds involving capital investment of around € 25 million).
